Thanks to Amazon’s personal assistant, Alexa, homeowners using our Rain Bird LNK WiFi Module are now able to talk directly to their irrigation systems.

Through a free app available for Android or iOS devices, you can now give your watering programs unique names of your own choosing.  Personalize your system, and have Alexa to “Ask Rain Bird to water front yard” instead of “zone 1”.  The system currently recognizes more than 180 commands and inquiries.

Alexa also offers help with your Rain Bird system with just a voice command.  You can ask Alexa to list available commands, irrigation zones or watering schedules.  You can even ask Alexa to let you know about the status of seasonal watering adjustments, or how much time remains on any program currently running.
